George River Lodge was founded in 1965, by M. Henri Culos. At the time, the company only counted a few basic camp sites on the George River. In 1985, the Paquet brothers (Jean and Pierre) acquired the organization and ensured its continuous development throughout the years making of Norpaq Adventures a world renowned outfitter. During the past decades, the lodge was rebuilt and expanded, facilities renovated and the equipments modernized in order to provide an unparalleled service and experience. In 2014, Norpaq entered its third generation of shareholders and continues to provide unique fishing adventures in Northern Quebec.

Our Mission

NORPAQ Adventures owns two registered outfitting permits, and will do all the necessary efforts to accomplish its obligations in the full respect of the Quebec laws on fishing, hunting and environmental protection and also of the code of ethics regulating fishing and hunting activities.

NORPAQ also owns its aircrafts and operates its own commercial air charter service, regulated by Transport Canada and the Canadian Transportation Agency. Our aviation division guarantees our clientele a first-class service and total flexibility.

NORPAQ Adventures will not base its performance on a statistic or on any guaranty. Our goal is to make sure that your experience will be one you will cherish for a long time, remembering that, with us, you were treated like a person not a statistic.
